1. Commitment to Achieving Net Zero

Pivotl Limited is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. We recognise the importance of reducing our environmental impact and have begun measuring, monitoring, and reducing our emissions accordingly.

2. Baseline Emissions Footprint

Baseline Year: 1^st April 2024 – 31^st March 2025

Our emissions baseline is calculated based on remote working operations, employee commuting, cloud services, and IT procurement.

• Scope 1: 0.000
• Scope 2: 0.000
• Scope 3: 1.88

3. Currentv Emissions Reporting

Reporting Year: 1^st April 2024 – 31^st March 2025

As a new baseline was set this year, current and baseline emissions are identical.

4. Emissions Reduction Target

We aim to achieve the following:

• Maintain zero Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions through our fully remote and cloud-based operations.
• Reduce Scope 3 commuting emissions by 50% by 2028 through using carpooling where appropriate and promoting train use.
• Offset all residual emissions annually from 2025 onwards.

5. Carbon Reduction Initiatives

Completed / Ongoing:

• Fully remote work model with no physical office footprint.
• Use of Microsoft Azure cloud services, which are increasingly powered by renewable energy.
• Minimal business travel and reliance on virtual meetings (e.g., MS Teams).

Planned:

• Introduce sustainable commuting policy encouraging carpooling and train travel.
• Offset emissions via certified carbon offset schemes.
• Recycle or responsibly dispose of IT hardware.

6. Declaration and Approval

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance.
